INT. DEAN & DELUCA - DAY
Javier talks with Felicity behind the counter.
Javier: I said, "Ma, if Nono's going to be there for Thanksgiving, count me out."
Felicity: Good for you. What did she say?
Javier: There's a little space out back by the garbage, she's going to leave him out there.
Felicity: Wait, so, uh Nono's a dog?
Javier: No. (to Billy) Billy -- What -- what are you doing? Oh, he's so incompetent.
Javier walks off to check on Billy. Felicity: (recording) Dear Sally, so I had Thanksgiving all figured out -- Thursday night, big family dinner; Friday night, see Uncle Harvey; and over the course of the weekend put up with my parents with as much grace as possible. But I've noticed lately that my life never seems to go as planned.
Julie walks up.
Julie: Hey.
Felicity: Hi. How are you doing?
Julie: Fine. Why does everybody keep asking me that like I'm about to burst into tears.
Felicity: So you don't want me to ask if you're okay?
Julie: Only if I'm about to burst into tears. Can I have a double latte.
Felicity: Yes.
Julie: God, it is so weird ordering from you.
Felicity: It'll be even weirder when you tip me.
Julie: Well, if you keep asking me if I'm okay, no tip.
Felicity: Are you finished packing yet? I having major brain freeze in the packing department.
Julie: I'm staying.
Felicity: What?
Julie: Yeah, you know, the more I thought about going home the sillier it seemed. And I got this ethic paper due, and then Christmas is so soon, anyway.....
Felicity: Really? Are you sure you won't get a little lonely?
Julie: No. Uh-uh. It's going to be really nice. And I'm not going to be totally alone, 'cause Noel's going to be here. He's staying for that dorm monitoring thing.
Felicity: That's true.
Julie: Yeah, I just saw him on my way over here. He said that, um, Hannah's coming.
Felicity loses concentration, and the latte sprays everywhere.
Felicity: Really? Wow. So, uh, Noel's girlfriend is coming to stay with him? We finally we to meet Hannah?
Julie: Actually, I get to meet Hannah. She doesn't get her until after you leave tomorrow, but I will give you a full report.
Felicity blankly hands Julie her latte.
Julie: Thank you.

Noel closes his door unaware that Lewis is standing behind him. He turns around and sees him, but is confused why Lewis is there.
Noel: Yes, Lewis?
Louis: I've come to say good-bye. I'm leaving this -- this blessed plot, this teeming womb.
Noel: Oh, is, uh, this for good?
Louis: No man, it's for vacation.
Noel: Oh.
Louis gives Noel a big hug.
Noel: Ohh.
Louis: Hang on.
Louis hugs him again.
Noel: Okay, Louis. I'll see you in five days.
Louis: You bet, man.
Noel walks off, Louis just stands there with a grin.
INT. FELICITY'S ROOM.
Felicity jumps on her overpacked suitcase and tries to close it. There is a knock on the door.
Felicity: Help!
Noel enters the room.
Noel: Is this big enough? Felicity: You're a genius. (takes the bag) Thank you.
Noel: Oh, you want me to baby-sit a plant.
Felicity: Yeah, it's over there.
Noel walks over to the window and picks it up. Curiously he looks at it.
Noel: It's-it's an avacado pit in a glass of water.
Felicity: Yeah, it blooms. Those things turn into huge plants. Oh, and you can take your Magic 8-Ball back.
Noel: Oh, I knew I left it somewhere. (grabs the toy)
Felicity: I got so desperate I started using it to help me pack.
Noel: (shakes the ball) Is Felicity excited about going home?
He looks at the ball.
Felicity: Outlook good.
Noel: It is decidely so. There you go. Outlook good isn't here, you mean, outlook not so good.
Felicity: No, I got outlook good this morning.
Noel: Uh, that's impossible.
Felicity: I swear to God, I got outlook good. That's why I packed my mock turtleneck.
Noel: Well, we could break it open and look inside, but that would release the magic --
Felicity grabs the ball and turns it.
Felicity: Watch. Is Noel's girlfriend coming to New York?
Noel: Oh, yeah, I was going to tell you about that. Um...Hannah is coming tomorrow, sort of a last minute thing.
Felicity: Can I just say one thing?
Noel: You never *say* one thing.
Felicity: You can talk to me about Hannah. You do know that.
Noel takes the ball and shakes it.
Noel: Mm-hmm. (looks at the ball) No. My sources say no.
Felicity: I'm serious. We're friends, right?
Noel: It is decidedly so.
They both smile at each other for a moment.
INT. BEN'S APARTMENT.
Ben looks under the coffee table for something. Sean walks in from the background. He's dressed in his bathrobe and face is covered with shaving cream.
Sean: Hey. So where's your razor?
Ben: My razor?
Sean: Yeah.
Ben: Packed.
Sean: You're not leaving till tomorrow.
Ben: Yeah, but I packed my razor today because it's my razor. Have you seen my Palo Alto track tee shirt?
Sean: You know what? Check Richard's room. That dude's got sticky fingers.
Ben: Man, I--I really can't spend all day looking for this stuff. I gotta go pick up my plane ticket home.
Sean: Oh, in the future there's going to be really big planes. Ooh. So you, uh, psyched to get back to sunny California?
Ben: Yeah. Yeah. It'll be good to see my parents.
Sean: You know, I'm going to this huge family thing my brother throws on Long Island. It's always amazing.
Ben looks down at Sean who reads his magazine. He still have shaving cream on his face.
Ben: You've been using my razor this whole time.
Sean: And your deodorant. Is that a problem?
INT. HALLWAY
Felicity passes by Elena who's heading out.
Felicity: Oh, hey! Have you seen Noel anywhere?
Elena: Uh, no, not since yesterday.
Felicity: Wow, are you taking all those home?
Elena: Um...I'm going to need all the distractions that I can get.
Felicity: That's--that's really good of you taking all those books home. Which ones do you have in there? Elena: All of them.
Felicity: Really?
Elena: Happy Thanksgiving.
Felicity: Yeah, happy Thanksgiving. Have fun with your dad.
Felicity walks off.
Elena: That would be a first.
Elena walks off.
EXT. JULIE'S ROOM.
Felicity knocks on Julie's door and opens it.
INT. JULIE'S ROOM
Felicity curiously looks at Julie's bed. Julie is covered completely under her comforter.
Felicity: Julie?
Julie: I went home. I'm not here. Go away.
Felicity: What are you doing?
Felicity sits on her bed. Julie comes out from under the covers and looks distressed.
Felicity: All right, I can ask if you're okay now, right?
Julie: Don't get all worried about me. I'm really okay. It's just everything that's happened in the past few weeks. I'm not sure what to say to my parents. I don't even know if I'm ready to see them.
Felicity: Okay, I want to say the right thing here, so, um....
Julie: Okay, I honestly don't want you to think that I'm all screwed up because I'm not. (wipes a tear away) But I think, maybe when you said I would be lonely if I stayed her by myself, you were right. Yeah, Noel will be here, but it's not like he's a really good friend, it's not like having you here.
INT FELICITY'S ROOM.
Felicity stands looking out her window.
Felicity: (recording) So it was a pretty easy decision actually. I called my parents and-and told them I wasn't coming home. That I needed to stay for a friend.
INT. HALLWAY/ELEVATOR.
Julie and Felicity wait for the elevator to stop on their floor.
Julie: Are you sure about this? I mean, have I totally like runied your Thanksgiving?
Felicity: No, of course not. Like you said, Christmas break is so soon, we'll be back in a few weeks anyway. I'm glad I'm here. We'll do our own Thankgiving, and just pig out.
Julie: Oh, I'll make this really great sweet potato stuff my dad always does.
Felicity: And I won't once ask you how you're doing?
They giggle as the elevator dings. The doors opens and Noel steps out carrying bags in his hand. Hannah exited before him.
Noel: Oh, um, hey. Uh...Hannah, this is Julie. She's one of my, uh, one of my advisees. Uh, who's from Maine. Julie's from Maine. (to Julie) Uh, this is Hannah.
Julie: Hi.
Hannah: Hi. Nice to meet you.
Noel: And, uh, this is... (Noel is at a loss for words.)
Felicity gives him the evil glance.
Felicity: (to Hannah) Felicity. Welcome to New York.
Hannah: Thanks.
Noel: Yeah. Yeah. Uh, Felicity comes from ---
Felicity: She doesn't really care where I'm from.
Julie giggles.
Felicity: California.
Hannah: Yeah, and I'm from Boston. As if it matters. (to Noel) Did you eat beets?
Noel: No.
Hannah: He gets this allergic hyper reaction when he eats beets.
Noel: So this are, uh, a couple of kids from the dorm.
The smile quickly fades from Felicity's face.
Julie: So, Noel said you were supposed to come tomorrow.
Hannah: Yeah, I was gonna drive, but then I found this website that lists cheap flights on short notice. And you know how most couiers only let you bring one bag on board? Well, these guys let you bring three.
Noel: Or four apparently, which --ooh. (drops the bag)
They all scramble to pick up the fallen bag of which music pages fall out of it.
Hannah: So lame. I'm on vacation I brought all this work.
Felicity: So, wow, so you play music?
Hannah: Well, I'm not the best pianist actually. I compose. I have this one piece I just can't finish.
Felicity: Wow.
Noel: So when are you guys leaving?
Felicity: We're not. Julie and I are staying here now.
Noel: That is fantastic. Great.
Hannah: You're sweating. Are you okay?
Noel: The bags made me sweat. Uh, quite a bit.
Hannah: I told you not to carry them all. It was nice meeting you guys.
Julie: Yeah, you too.
Felicity: So, uh, I can get my plant back, right?
Noel: Right, your plant. (to Hannah) See, okay, Felicity gave me a plant that she had to watch it, and change the water, which I was happy to do because I'm the resident advisor. (to Felicity) Um, so, um, you'll get that back today.
Hannah: You sure you didn't have beets?
Noel: Might have had some beets.
Hannah: Bye. (walks off)
Noel: (to Hannah) Our room's right down here.
As the couple leaves, Felicity and Julie head into the elevator.
Julie: She seemed nice.
Felicity shoots Julie a look and moves her attention back on Noel and Hannah as they walk off.
FADE OUT
PART TWO
INT. NOEL'S ROOM - SAME DAY
Noel and Hannah are sharing big smoochies on his bed. They quickly take each other's shirts off and lay back onto his bed. They share one last long kiss, and they pull away, breathing heavily.
Noel: So-so are you hungry?
Hannah: Yeah.
Noel: Ok.
Hannah: Good.
They get up and leave.
INT. KELVIN HALL - LOBBY
Felicity and Julie, carrying grocery bags, wait for the elevator.
Felicity: (to Ben) Hey!
Ben is seen coming out of a classroom down the hall. He waves and heads towards her.
Ben: Hey.
Felicity: I thought you went home already?
Ben: Nah, there was some screw up with my plane ticket, and I have to go track it down. Big drag. What are you guys doing?
Julie: We're staying in the dorm for Thanksgiving.
Ben: You're staying here? Why?
Felicity: Because, uh, we thought it'd be fun. First Thanksgiving on our own kind of thing.
Julie: If you're ticket thing doesn't work out, then you should come tomorrow. Around 6:00.
Ben: Nah, it'll work out. Going home.
Felicity: Well, good luck and say hi to Palo Alto for me.
Ben: I will. I will. Have fun.
Felicity: Bye.
Julie: Bye:
Ben walks off.
INT. ELENA'S DAD'S HOUSE - SAME DAY
Elena sits and unenthusiastically listens to her dad ramble on about tv's.
Dad: They sell these satellite systems for $300 plus installation. But this was a floor model, it had a dent on the side. So, um, the managers drew straws, and I won. Fred Boyden was not happy.
A India sounding program comes on.
Elena: What's that?
Dad: Oh, yeah, it keeps wanting to jump back to channel 528. Indian programs. I can fix that.
Elena digs for her test paper.
Elena: So, um, I got a 94 on my inorganic chemistry midterm. Second highest score in the class. I thought you might want to see it.
Dad: Oh, that's really something. A 94. Second highest in the class?
Elena: The highest grade was to a junior.
Dad: That's really something. (hands her back the paper) Well, it's good to have you home.
Elena: Yeah.
Dad: Uh, I've seen that game show before. That guy ends up with paint all over him.
Elena: So, you want to go to the store with him? I've gotta start cooking tonight if we're going to get everything ready.
Dad: Oh, Evy and her family invited us over for Thanksgiving. I told her we'd come.
Elena: You did? I wanted to cook something for just the two of us.
Dad: It'll be fun to go over to Evy's. It'll be a big group thing. It'll be nice. Oh, ho, ho, what is this? You remember any Spanish from high school?
Elena: I took French in high school.
Dad: Oh.
Elena walks off.
INT. EMPIRE DINER - NIGHT
Noel and Hannah sit at a table eating dinner.
Hannah: So I kind of have big news.
Noel: What?
Hannah: I've been accepted into the New York Conservatory.
Noel: (shocked) I didn't even know you'd applied.
Hannah: I didn't know I'd get in. And I'm not sure why they accepeted me really. It's just that after had that talk, where you said it'd be so much better if we were be together, I figured, you know, what the hell, if I don't get in then it wasn't meant to be. You're not happy.
Noel: No! I'm just -- I'm just -- I'm just catching up. This is -- I'm just catching up. All right? That's all. This is -- Wow! So what does this mean?
Hannah: It means that if I want too -- if we want to I can transfer here next semester. You don't seem happy.
Noel: No, I'm--Wow! Ha! That is fantastic.
Hannah: You're doing the thing. You hand's on your forehead.
Noel: Oh. That does not mean, I'm not wildy enthusastic.
Hannah: It means you're stressed out.
Noel: I think this is -- this is great.
Hannah: We don't have to decide right now. You've got the R.A. stuff, you're supposed to do.
Noel: Yeah, you're right, I should, uh...you can come if you want.
Hannah: It's okay. I'm gonna to stay here. Finish my coffee. Read the "Voice." I'll meet you back at the room.
Noel: Ok. All right, we're going to talk about this later.
Noel gets up.
Hannah: Ok.
Noel: Ok.
Noel leaves. Hannah sits in the booth unsure about Noel's reaction.
EXT. FELICITY'S ROOM.
Felicity opens her door and marches to Noel's room. She knocks on the door. There is no answer.
Felicity: Noel!
No answer
She slaps a note on his door and walks away.
Close up on yellow Post-It. It reads: Give me back my pit.
INT. BEN'S APARTMENT.
Ben talks on the phone with his mom.
Ben: (into phone) Yeah, hey mom, you're not going to believe this, but I didn't get the ticket today. I gotta do a tracer thing. (a beat) What do you mean? (a beat) Oh. Oh, I just -- I thought you wanted me to come. It's fine. It's fine, it's no big deal. I forget things all the time. You know, you could have called me and told me about it because I ran around all day looking for the stupid thing. (a beat) Yeah, ok. I gotta go.
Sean walks in the front door.
Ben: (into phone) Mom, I gotta go. Ok. Bye.
Sean: Hey. Eat as many of those as you possibly can
Ben: Ok.
Sean: No, I'm serious. I figured this out last year. You eat constantly before Thanksgiving, your stomach expands to three times it's normal capacity. The big day comes, what happens?
Ben: I don't know.
Sean: More room for turkey.
Ben: Oh.
Sean: So when you taking off?
Ben: I'm just going to stick around here. Yeah, I found out about this thing at Kelvin. It's, like, food, music, it should be really fun.
Sean: Yeah, well, this thing my brother throws out on Long Island, it's not really a family thing persay. It's more like this big blow out. Fireworks. Ka-Boom.
Ben: Wow. That sounds good.
Sean: Its going to be great. Yeah. If you need another one, let me know.
Sean walks off.
Ben: I'll let you know.
Ben looks at the candy bar and sighs. He puts it down.
INT. JULIE'S ROOM
Felicity sits in Julie's LaZboy, while Julie searches through the yellow pages for turkey suppliers.
Julie: Damn, there is like, a free range of turkey shortages of epic proportions.
Felicity: He definitely was acting weird.
Julie: Are we back on Noel again?
Felicity: What do you think it means?
Julie: I thought we went over this. He and Hannah are just getting readjusted. It's hard to get back on track. He's probably just -- he's overwhelmed
Felicity: It's just a strange feeling not being able to just go to Noel's room. Knock on the door.....and have him answer, all happy to see me.
Julie: Try him on Monday. I am SO sick of calling call these places. Maybe I'll just go turkey shopping in the morning while you're setting up everything. Is that okay?
Felicity: What if he never opens the door like that again?
A frustrated Julie throws down the phone book.
Felicity: Sorry. Yes, you turkey shop downtown in the morning and I will setup that sounds great.
INT GIRLS BATHROOM
Felicity washes her face in the sink. When she rises she notices that Hannah is right next to her. Hannah looks in her facial kit of some moisturizer.
Felicity: Hi. You scared me.
Hannah: Sorry. I seem to having that effect on people. I forgot my moisturizer. Do you.....
Felicity: Sure. Uh....
Hannah: Thanks.
Hannah takes off her glasses and looks at the tube.
Hannah: This is zit cream.
Felicity: Oh. Oh, my roommate, uh, she must have left that. I...this is moisturizer.
Hannah: Guys are unbelievable, aren't they? I mean, they say one thing, and they panic when you call them on it.
Felicity: You mean, Noel?
Hannah: Yeah. We've been talking about me moving to New York. It's been getting complicated.
Felicity slowly halts from brushing her teeth after hearing that. She continues.
Hannah: Noel's acting weird.
Felicity: He's, um, probably just readjusting.
Hannah: What?
Felicity: Um....
Felicity rinses her mouth out.
Felicity: He's -- he's probably just readjusting. It takes awhile to get back on track
Hannah: Yeah. I guess. I just don't want to fight with him
Felicity: If it makes you feel any better, uh, he talks about you all the time.
Hannah: Thanks.....for saying that
Felicity: Good night.
Felicity leaves to her room.
INT. FELICITY'S ROOM
She lays wide awake in bed. Tossing and turning.
Lyrics:I'm so tired / of falling in love / I find it easier, to fall out / I cant deny it / I feel it inside.
Felicity gets up and puts on a shirt. She heads out her door and starts for Noel's room. She pauses and heads back to her room.
Lyrics: I keep it's fire / I can't hide / I'm falling in love again / Ain't nothing I can do / Falling in love / This time it's with you / When I fall / It's always the same / And I'm so tired / Of playing this game / Ohh
The elevator doors open, which catch Felicity's attention. She turns to see Noel getting out. She looks at him and he at her. He looks away and she walks into her room.
INT. FELICITY'S ROOM
Felicity closes her door and leans against it. Thinking of whether or not she should go back out.
Lyrics:Been so long now / Since I gave up my heart / I've kept it locked up / I don't want to get it harmed / So let me tell you now.
Felicity cracks open her door and looks down the hallway for Noel.
Lyrics: I just want to be sure that you won't to hurt me / Just promise me that / Falling in love again.
INT. FELICITY'S ROOM
Felicity closes her door.
INT. HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS
Felicity sees Noel going into his room.
INT NOEL'S ROOM
Lyrics: Falling in love again / Girl / And this time it's with you / When I fall / It's always the same / And I'm so tired / Of playing this game / Ohh.
Noel takes off his shirt and looks at Hannah who is sleeping in bed. Her eyes open as she hears him rustling, but does not get up. He crawls into bed and hovers over her.
Hannah: (whispers) Hi.
Noel: (whispers) So I was thinking....I think it's a great idea.
Hannah turns to look at Noel and smiles.
Noel: I want you to move to New York.
They kiss.
FADE OUT.
PART THREE
INT. KITCHEN
Scene opens with a table full of ingredients. Felicity continues unpacking the grocery bag. Her attention is stirred when the elevator door rings. Julie comes out carrying a brown paper bag.
Felicity: Hey. How'd it go?
Julie holds up the bag as she walks to Felicity.
Julie: Well.....not sure.
Julie plops the bag down on the table.
Felicity: That's the turkey?
Julie: That's what I'm not sure about. I ended up at this place down in Chinatown, and well....the guy said it was a free-range turkey, so....
Felicity cautiously opens the bag and is disgusted..
Felicity: Ok.
Julie: What-what? What do you think?
Felicity: I think its got fur.
Julie: Those aren't feathers?
Felicity can't help but look at Julie with a surprised look. Noel and Hannah emerge, in their robes, from Noel's room.
Hannah: Wow! You guys are cooking?
Julie: Yeah, um....you want to join us?
Hannah: You don't want my help. I'm the worst cook in the world, which Noel can attest to. I can do grilled cheese that's about it.
Julie: Well, we're going to have a really big dinner tonight, so if you guys want to come.
Hannah: Oh, that's up to Noel. He won't tell me our plans.
Noel: We got reservations at "Ye Waverly," and those are the plans, so, um...
Hannah: "Ye Waverly" could be fun --
Noel: Ye. Ye. Ye Waverly.
Hannah: Well, this could be more homey.
Noel: Actually, I've been really looking forward to Ye Waverly, and I've had dreams about it.
Hannah: (to Noel) Ok. (to Julie) Thanks for the invite, though. We're going to Ye Waverly Inn.
Hannah walks off. Noel just stands there nervously for a second and then follows. Felicity can't help but critically look at Noel as he leaves. Felicity gets closer to Julie.
Felicity: God, what a jerk!
Julie: He didn't mean anything by it. He's just --
Felicity: Readjusting, I know.
Julie: What are we going to do about the turkey problem?
Felicity gives Julie "I have an idea" look.
INT. DEAN AND DELUCA.
Javier locks the door.
Javier: No, you missed it by that much.
Lady: Oh!!
The lady walks off.
Javier: So, Nono's back in the house. She said it's just not Thanksgiving without him.
Felicity: That's-That's too bad.
Javier: So what is this advice we're talking about?
Felicity: We need some turkey advice.
Javier: Ok. You have a pen for me to write this down?
Julie: Write what down?
Javier: It's simple. Just listen closely, you'll remember ok? Do not stuff this turkey, ok? Just simple remove the little gifts from the inside. You know what I'm talking about. Set them aside. Take an oiled brown paper bag, put the turkey inside the bag. (to guy who hands him paper) Thank you very much. Pour one quart of water inside the bag. Tap water, ok? You got to keep this bird moist, ok? Roll the bag over, 350 degrees for three hours for 15 pounder. You will love me.
Julie: Um...we don't have an oven.
Felicity: Or a turkey. Which is why I came to see you.
Javier: So you can't make the recipe.
Felicity: We just thought with you in the food business, you could, uh, maybe tell us, a place to get a free-range turkey.
Javier: Today!? You must be joking. I ordered mine two months ago.
Julie: Well, then how about you come have Thanksgiving with us, and you bring a turkey and we'll do everything else.
Felicity looks at Julie.
Julie: I'm just kidding.
Javier: What time?
Felicity: Javier, you don't actually have to --
Javier: Just tell me what time, I'm curious.
Julie looks very hopeful and happy.
INT. ELENA'S HOME
Her dad comes through the door carrying a bottle of wine inside a paper bag. Elena is closing up her bag.
Dad: I bought soda and wine for tonight.
Elena: Where have you been all day?
Dad: Oh, just shopping. And I stopped by Stack's place this morning, he needed some help with something at the garage. Uh, it took longer then I thought. What is this?
Elena: I'm going back to the dorm. I have work to do and my computer's there. It's just easier.
Dad: You're going back after dinner, right?
Elena: No, I'm going back now.
Dad: We made plans to go to Evy's. She's expecting you.
Elena: No one will notice I'm not there.
Dad: Evy will notice. I told her we'd come. They made food for us.
Elena: Dad, I came home to see you, and for the past two days, you've either been fixing your tv or visiting your friends.
Dad: You came to see me? Honey, you got to school half and hour away. You haven't been home in three months.
Elena: That's right. An half an hour away. The trains go both ways. You'd never even seen where I live.
Her dad doesn't know what to say. Elena picks up her bags.
Elena: Tell Evy I'm sorry. (kisses dad) See you later.
He can just stand there stunned as Elena opens the door and leaves.
INT NOEL'S ROOM.
Hannah works on the computer searching for an apartment for her and Noel. Noel stands next to her.
Hannah: This modem's pretty slow, huh?
Noel: Not really, it's a V-90.
Hannah: Really? Must be a dirty line. Did I tell you I got a new computer?
Noel: Oh, not an IMAC. Those things are SO beautiful.
Hannah: Actually, no, it's a PC. 300 mHz.
Noel: (shocked) What?
Hannah: Yeah. It's cable/modem ready as soon as their available.
Noel: You bought a PC.
Hannah: Yeah.
Noel can't believe it and walks to his shelf. He picks up the Magic 8- ball.
Noel: So, you're not a Mac person anymore?
Hannah: Most of the titles we use are cross-platform.
Noel: There are your apartment listings.
Hannah: Oh.
Hannah scrolls down the computer listings while Noel plays with his magic 8-ball.
Hannah: Ok, so what do you think of Tribeca?
Noel: Uh, is Tribeca a good place to live? (looks at the ball) Outlook good. (comes to a realization) Hey, outlook good.
Hannah: I don't really know the city very well. Can you help me out here?
Noel: Um...well, I am helping out...outlook good.
Hannah: Could you put down the toy, please?
He puts it away
Noel: I'm just....trying to make this fun.
Hannah: I'm just trying to find a place to live.
INT BEN'S APARTMENT - DUSK
Sean sits at the table eating and Ben walks up.
Sean: Is that what you're wearing to the party?
Ben: Yeah, I guess. Why.
Sean: I don't know. It's just -- kind of casual.
Ben: Yeah, it's casual.
Sean: No, I mean--I mean, I know it's a party, but Thanksgiving is also a holiday tradition. People usually get a little more dressed up.
Ben: Look at you.
Sean: Well, I'm just about to get changed myself. I say go with a nice shirt, black jeans, classic contempo casual look.
Ben: Comtempo, what?
Sean: Trust me. If anybody knows fashion.
Ben: All right, I'll change.
Sean: Good. Ok, cool. You'll be back late.
Ben: Yeah, probably.
Sean: Yeah, me too.
INT. STUDENT LOUNGE.
Felicity and Julie continue to cook.
Felicity: Oh, it's been four minutes, sorry.
Julie rushes to the microwave to save her food. Popping open the door, she is disappointed at the outcome. She pulls out the food and sighs.
Felicity: What?
Julie: These--these just don't look my dad's sweet potatos.
Felicity: I'm sure they'll still be good.
Julie: No, they--they look terrible.
Frustrated, Julie plops herself down on the couch. Sensing something is wrong, confronts her.
Felicity: What is it? The sweet potatos?
Julie: No, it's not the stupid sweet potatos. I know this is going to sound like I'm about three years old, but part of me wants my parents to just walk in here, put their arms around me, and just not say anything.
Felicity takes a seat next to Julie.
Julie: But if I told them, if they knew what happened, I swear, that would change who I am to them. And they would never look at me the same way again. I don't know, maybe I'll tell them at Christmas.
Felicity: You should tell them when you're ready to tell them.
Julie just compassionately looks at Felicity.
Hannah comes out of Noel's room and sees the sweet potatos.
Hannah: Are those mini-marshmallows in here. Those look great.
Julie: Thanks.
Hannah: I'm going to the store, does anybody need anything?
Felicity: No thanks.
Julie: Mm.mm.
Hannah: Ok.
Julie slaps Felicity on the leg, and they both get back to work. Julie works on her potatos. Felicity closes the microwave door when Noel comes out of his room.
Noel: Hey. So...you were right. I saw outlook good.
Felicity: Mmm-hmm. See.
Noel: Um...uh, yes, definately. Did you ever see that one?
Felicity: Julie, I'm-I'm gonna go wash these.
Julie: Ok, try the men's room, it's got a bigger sink. Don't ask me how I know that.
Felicity walks off. Noel approaches Julie.
Noel: (whispers) Right. She's mad.
Julie: Well, I guess so. You haven't exactly been friendly.
Noel: I know. I know. I don't know what it is. It's like a chemical reaction. When Felicity and Hannah are together, I just....ugh! I lose control of my motor function. I just panic and become..eww! A spaz, you know? I mean, it's insane. Ah, it doesn't make sense does it?
Julie gives Noel a "you know" look.
Noel: What? Does it?
Julie: Yeah.
Noel: Yeah. Right. All right. Excuse me.
Noel goes to find Felicity. The elevator doors open and out comes Ben, all classic comtempo dressed.
Ben: Hi!
Julie: Hey. I didn't know that you stayed.
Ben: Yeah, the ticket thing never got resovled, so....
Julie: You look really, nice.
Ben: Thanks. (smiles) Thanks.
INT. MEN'S BATHROOM.
Felicity cleans out a bowl.
Noel comes in and closes the door.
Noel: So, are you going to ignore me permanently?
Felicity: No, not permanently. And I'm not ignoring you, I'm talking to you without looking at you. That's different.
Noel: Felicity, look--I'm sorry...
Felicity: Are you sure you want to call me by my name? I thought I was just one of your kids in your dorm.
Noel: Yeah, I'm sorry about that.
Felicity: Am I an embarrassment to you? I mean, is that what I am when your real life comes to town? Just like this idiot advisee on your floor.
Noel: No, of course, not. Listen--
Felicity: I hate not being able to talk to you, you know that? It's like, one of the worst things, I can think of.
Noel: Really?
Felicity: Don't get flattered by that. That's not what that's about, ok? I mean, as far as I'm concerned, your beautiful symphony composing girlfriend can move to New York tomorrow. It doesn't bother me. And I'm not jealous, ok? I mean....because even if I was, what difference does it make now because you and Hannah are like --
Noel grabs Felicity and gives her a passionate kiss.
He pulls away and just looks at her. She looks at Noel for a moment and gives him back a passionate kiss of her own. As they get lost in the moment, Ben opens the door and sees the two making out. He is shocked and surprised by this revelation. He just smiles and awkwardly leaves.
EPILOGUE
INT. STUDENT LOUNGE
Ben: Hey.
Ben: I think she went to try and find some more plates.
Julie comes out from a door.
Julie: We don't have enough plates.
Felicity: (loudly) What should we do?
Ben: Uh, Shawn's got plenty of plates back at the loft. I could go grab some.
Julie: Can you? And maybe some spoon and forks and some whatever. Plastic, regular, that would be so awesome.
Hannah comes out from the elevator and walks to the trio. Felicity feels the uncomfortable tension.
Hannah: Hi.
Ben: Hi.
Felicity: That--that's, uh, Hannah. And she's....uh...Noel's girl--girlfriend--from Boston.
Ben: His girlfriend? Really? Ok? I'm Ben. Hi.
Noel comes out from the bathroom and goes to his room.
Hannah: Excuse me.
Hannah follows Noel.
Ben: Uh, I'm going to grab that stuff.
Julie: Ok, yeah. Hurry. Because the turkey is going to be here really soon. With a guy.
Ben: Ok.
Ben heads for the elevator. It opens and out steps Javier with a giant foil wrapped turkey. Elena is also in the elevator.
Elena: (to Ben) I thought that you were going home?
Ben: Yeah, you too. I'm going to get some plates, so...
Javier: Look what I brought! Ha ha! Ok.
Felicity: (to Javier) Woah! That is a big turkey! (to Elena) Wait, what are you doing here?
Elena: What are you doing here? What is all this?
Javier: I need to put this down.
Julie and Felicity quickly clear a space.
Javier: Ok. Ugh. Ok. I need to make this nice.
Felicity: Um, can you guys excuse me for a minute.
Julie: Where are you going?
Felicity: Hyperventilate. I'll be right back.
Julie give Elena a curious look.
Julie: Didn't you go home?
Elena: Uh, nah. Something came up and I decided to come back,.
Julie: Well, good, cause we have a lot of food.
Elena: All right.
Julie: This turkey smells so good.
Javier: Okay, we need candles here. Where-where are the candles? We-we can't have the dinner without candles.
Julie: Candles?
Javier: And you're going to get dressed, yes. You look nice, but for basketball.
Julie: (laughs) Oh, my God.
Julie walks off.
INT. NOEL'S ROOM.
Noel's in his closet getting his jacket while Hannah sits on the bed.
Hannah: Noel, I know you want to go to dinner, but....I'm feeling kind of tired.
Noel: Ok, um, if you want we can eat here. If you want. They said there's room.
Hannah: Ok. Sure.
Noel takes off his jacket.
Hannah: Have you tried the PC lately? They're not so bad.
Noel: Well, yeah, I mean...they ripped off the Macintosh Operating System. They're great now.
They both looks glum.
Hannah: Is this crazy? What we're talking about doing.
Noel: No, um...what do you mean?
Hannah: We don't have to talk about this now.
Noel: Maybe we should.
Hannah: Ok. When I went out just now, it was.....I made a phone call. To a guy....at Northwestern, who I have been sort of spending time with.
Noel: Oh.
Hannah: Nothing's happened yet. I mean, we haven't slept together or anything.
Hannah: I like him. I-I thought it was because I missed you, and was lonely and...I thought I get her and I'd see you and we'd make this plan.
Noel: Yeah. It just doesn't feel right does it?
Hannah: No. I wanted it to.
Noel: I've, uh.....I've sort of had the same thing.
Hannah: Really?
Noel only nods yes.
Hannah: Have I met her? Nevermind. I don't want to know. I don't. The stupid thing is I still love you. But things are different now, aren't they?
Noel: Yes they are.
INT. BEN'S APARTMENT
Ben marches into the kitchen.
Sean: Hey.
Ben turns to see Sean, on the couch, pigging out on junk food.
Ben: Hey.
Sean: Hey, man, what happened, what happened to that party?
Ben: What are you doing here?
Sean: I just -- didn't feel like going to the, uh, you know to the bash.
Ben grabs a paper bag and opens it.
Ben: Yeah, but I though you really wanted to go though.
Sean: Yeah, I did, but then I called my cousin up and said I wasn't really into it.
Ben: Why did you call your cousin?
Sean: What?
Ben: I thought you said your brother was throwing the party.
Sean: Yeah. Well, you know, I called my cousin.
Ben: There's no party?
Sean: No, there's a party. Uh, not one that I'm actually, you know, invited to, but....you know what? I'm cool here, though. I got room for three 12-inch subs.
Ben: You're all right?
Sean: Yeah.
Ben: You sure?
Sean: Yeah. I'm good.
Ben: You're sure you're all right?
Sean: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ben heads for the door and stops.
Ben: Hey, uh, so are you gonna come with me or what?
Sean: Can I go like this?
Ben: Of course.
Sean hops up and goes over to Ben.
Ben: Jacket.
Sean grabs his jacket and they leave.
INT. BATHROOM
Felicity comes into the bathroom and heads for the sink. She hears crying and sees Hannah in the corner crying her eyes out. She goes over to her.
Felicity: Hey.
Hannah turns around.
Felicity: Are you all right?
Hannah: Yeah, I'll be okay.
Felicity grabs a roll of toliet paper and gives it to Hannah.
Hannah: Thanks. It's weird how...how things change.
Felicity: Yeah.
Felicity turns to leave, but....
Hannah: He's a great guy.
Felicity: I know.
Hannah smiles because she has figured out who Noel's sweet was.

Sally: Dear Felicity, I planned on spending Thanksgiving by myself this year. I thought it would be too hard to try and celebrate the holiday with new friends in this new place.....but then Emmitt and a bunch of friends from work showed up at my place with all this food. It's incredible, really, one minute your standing in this new city with nothing but your suitcase and then you look around and suddenly, you realize you're surrounded by family.
The End
